College library plays an important role in providing overall library and information services to the students & teachers. It is a central part of education Institute.
Our library established in July 1989.started functioning with a collection of only 701 books and was housed in a very small portion of one room.
At present, the library is housed in a separate specious building . The library has over 28823 books and it subscribes to over 78 National & International Journals. The library is also member of UGC. INFLIBNET N-LIST, Ahmadabad under which it has access to over 3135000 + e books and 6000+e journals and few electronic databases.
The library is computerized with Bar code system. The user of the library can search or browse the resource through OPAC.
To provide efficient & effective library services by applying the latest Information Technology.
Working Hours:The library remains open on all working days except on national and weekly holidays. The library is kept open for 8 hours. I.e. 8.00 am to 4.00 p.m.
Infrastructure:Total area of the library is 341.84 Sq.Meters. including separate Processing Section, OPAC , Property counter, circulation section, Stack Section, Reference section, Periodical section, Staff reading section, Internet Section, Reading room, rest room ,Xerox room, Water and Sanitary Facility.
Our library is well furnished with a world class & high quality of comfortable furniture.
ICT Infrastructure:The central library of the college is fully automated. It provides access to books, journals, periodicals and e-resources through the following facilities:
